ectool is a small utility that dumps the RAM of a laptop's Embedded/Environmental Controller (EC).

It expects an EC as described in the ACPI specification. Only ACPI-compliant ECs will be detected.

Installation

$ cd coreboot/util/ectool
$ make
$ sudo make install
