Hi. I'm an aspiring opensource developer on the verge of getting a computer engineering degree from Michigan State University. I got started on coreboot as part of Google Summer of Code 2010, with the task of improving the status of TianoCore as a payload. It didn't go so well with respect to results --the task turned out to be much harder than I anticipated-- but as far as the underlying GSoC goal of transforming college students into opensource developers, it worked. As I write this, the official "pencils down" date that ends GSoC is rapidly approaching, but I have no intention of quitting. I'm having fun, and I feel good about what I'm doing, so I'm in this for the long haul.
Oh, I'm also a parent and a gardener, and I don't like vi or emacs.
